Sending Flowers Out of Town Due to the internet, it has never been easier to send flowers out of town. If you are computer savey, you can send them yourself, "Simply look up the town and state on Google or Yahoo, key words “florist local." Make sure you are speaking to the actual florist. As with everything else these days -- everyone is in the floral business; however, only an experienced flower shop can give you the professional attention you will need when sending flowers. Contacting the actual florist and speaking with a licensed florist who knows flowers, delivery area and containers in stock is the only way to go. Otherwise, you are spending money on wire fees and more money on the flowers than you need to. When you call the 800 number on the internet, you are calling an office with an unskilled worker intercepting your order and charging an astronomical fee. By the time it gets to the florist, it is for half of what you originally paid. Please speak only with a reputable florist who is actually in the shop -- save money and headaches. |
