In the beginning of 2011 Dottie moved her design studio to 1297 Broadway in downtown Placerville. Camino Flower Shop sits right on the street with panoramic views from every corner. Once inside you will find flowers, vintage wares, sparkling chandeliers, heirloom aviaries with doves and lovebirds. Kitty cats will greet you at the door when they are not playing in the windows and entertaining passerby’s.
“The smartest decision I ever made was moving my studio. 1297 Broadway is an old building and is constructed of solid concrete and glass which provides a real greenhouse effect and serves as an inspiration for creativity.
My feminine, soft, storefront is a sparkling jewel in the middle of the old school Placerville business district. It is situated right next to a hardware store, providing a wonderful contrast on the street.”
